Must start somewhere
I have decided to create this blog in hopes that it can be a collaborating point for social entrepreneurs who are functioning in this space. The field remains young but I find it's potential exciting, especially with the potential to run side by side with microfinance institutions. I will attempt to keep the content pure to microfranchising but will provide links to other blogs and major news in the larger industry. I look forward to many wonderful postings, contributions, and comments.

Hi David. I read your comment on Justine's webpage and decided to visit yours. I used to be really involved with BYU's microcredit/microfinancing initiatives several years ago---when things were really young and barely getting going. I ended up combining microfinance with literacy and doing some internships involving both. But then after graduating, getting married, and a bunch of other life changes, well, you know.
I'd like to be a part of whatever dialogue happens, and to keep up on the latest happenings. So thank you for making this blog. I look forward to reading everything and, even if I can't live abroad like old times, there are different ways to contribute now.
